About this Event
The CAVC Creative Student Showcase is an exciting interdisciplinary exhibition festival, showcasing the final work of students who are reaching the end of their creative journey at Cardiff and Vale College (CAVC).
Visitors can expect to see a variety of exhibitions in painting, sculpture, ceramics, creative media, photography, performing arts and product design, alongside inspiring performances by music, fashion, and technical make up artistry students at the College.
The event will be held over two evenings, as noted below, and will feature a full programme of events led by CAVC students:
Wednesday 3rd June: Visual Arts Exhibition
6pm-8:30pm @ CAVC Arts Academy, Trade Street
Thursday 4th June: Multi-Discipline Creative Showcase
4pm-8pm @ CAVC City Centre campus, Dumballs Road
All guests will receive a complimentary drink upon arrival and will have the opportunity to meet and speak to artists about the work they have created.
Many of our graduates will go on to complete university courses in fine art, fashion, theatre, music and performance – as well as progressing into careers in the creative industries – so this is a great opportunity to catch the leading artists of tomorrow!

Mae Arddangosfa Greadigol Myfyrwyr CCAF yn ŵyl arddangosfa ryngddisgyblaethol gyffrous, sy’n arddangos gwaith terfynol myfyrwyr sy’n cyrraedd diwedd eu taith greadigol yng Ngholeg Caerdydd a’r Fro (CCAF).
Gall ymwelwyr ddisgwyl gweld amrywiaeth o arddangosfeydd paentio, cerflunio, gwaith cerameg, cyfryngau creadigol, ffotograffiaeth, y celfyddydau perfformio a dylunio cynnyrch, ynghyd â pherfformiadau ysbrydoledig gan fyfyrwyr cerddoriaeth, ffasiwn a chelfyddyd colur technegol y Coleg.
Cynhelir y digwyddiad dros ddwy noson, fel y nodir isod, a bydd yn cynnwys rhaglen lawn o ddigwyddiadau dan arweiniad myfyrwyr CCAF:

Dydd Iau, 4ydd Mehefin: Arddangosfa Greadigol Aml-ddisgyblaethol
4pm-8pm ar Gampws Canol y Ddinas CCAF, Heol Dumballs
Bydd yr holl westeion yn cael diod am ddim ar ôl cyrraedd ac yn cael y cyfle i gwrdd a siarad ag artistiaid am y gwaith maent wedi ei greu.
Bydd llawer o’n graddedigion yn mynd ymlaen i gwblhau cyrsiau prifysgol ym meysydd celf gain, ffasiwn, theatr, cerddoriaeth a pherfformio – yn ogystal â symud ymlaen i yrfaoedd yn y diwydiannau creadigol – felly dyma gyfle gwych i weld gwaith sêr y dyfodol!
