Catherine Chevalier Woods walk

This forest preserve offers some nice views of the Des Plaines River and features many deer in the picnic groves.

We meet in the parking lot at the designated grove #2. The walk will be moderately paced and be on unpaved paths. Some are dirt, some paved and some are gravel. We'll see a lot of invasive plants but the scenic path along the river is really picturesque. We may have to step over obstacles along the path.

Strong hiking boots along with weather appropriate apparel is suggested. Also bring water for hydration.

Walkers participate at their own risk.
