About this Event

Behind the noise of notifications and the constant demand of an ‘always-on’ world, something quietly gets lost: Your own voice.

Things stay unspoken.

Feelings stay unprocessed.

Thoughts stay unfinished.

Cathar(t)sis is a one-hour gently-guided writing experience designed to bring you back to yourself.

It is a gentle self-discovery workshop to bring you back to who you actually are, beneath the roles, the titles, and the labels you carry.

You don’t need to be a writer. You just have to be willing to show up.
No pressure, no expectations. Just you, a paper, and a moment to reconnect with yourself.

Through a short mindfulness grounding and a deep analog writing session, you'll be gently led to hand-write what’s been sitting within you. Deeply honest, unfiltered, and purely you.
Your writing in this session doesn't need to be polished, or beautiful.
They don't need to be published anywhere, or shared with anyone.
This piece of writing will be for yourself, a lighthouse for your future.

The Experience

In 60 minutes, you will:

  • Reset : 10 minutes of mindfulness to quiet the noise and come home to yourself
  • Write : 30 minutes of guided analog writing to craft a personal vision, prompted every step of the way. No writing experience is needed for this.
  • Connect : an optional space at the end to share what came up, or simply sit with it

You'll leave with:

  • A personal vision statement that will be your North Star for the future
  • Greater clarity within yourself
  • A quiet reminder of your own inner voice
  • Self discovery through deep focus and creative clarity

This is for you if:

  • You've been feeling overwhelmed or mentally cluttered and craving self-discovery
  • You're a professional, creator, or leader who needs clarity beyond the daily grind
  • You want a vision for your life that is intentional and truly yours

What to bring

Just yourself.
We’ll provide the writing instruments.

Seats are limited to keep the space intimate.

Hosted at Taste of Colombia, a warm community space in Oakville. Grab a coffee or anything you’d like, settle in, and let's write.
See you soon!
