He has saved me, He has blessed me, and He has called me to a purpose greater than myself. And I have decided to answer the call!!!
If you don’t already know, I have been invited to and accepted a position with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and plan to move into a full time missionary position. God has blessed me my entire life with the desire to help others through health, wellness, and athletics, and has now put ministry on my heart in order to use those blessings.
I Peter 4:10 NKJV
The mission of the FCA is “To lead EVERY Coach and Athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church.”
But my calling to the FCA is a little different. I’ve been called to a BRAND NEW mission within FCA, which will allow us to meet more than just the coaches and the athletes on the fields and the courts. It will allow us to serve our ENTIRE community.
I will be joining the FCA to help create and build FCA Fit, which is going to be a fitness facility that will allow EVERYONE to hear and be impacted by the Gospel. Our vision is to reach people through the universal language of fitness and, in doing so, illuminate the path to a deeper understanding of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
But we can’t do it alone. Nor were we meant to. That’s why we are inviting you to our “Catch The Vision” event. We’d like the opportunity to talk to you more about the mission of the FCA, FCA Fit, allow you to ask questions, and most importantly, explain how you can get involved and support.
We pray that God will lead you there and open your hearts to hearing about the work He has called us to.
