Session Description:
There is robust evidence indicating that 2SLGBTQI+ populations have poorer health outcomes, as well as poorer access to care and experiences in care. What can we do about this, though?
In this session, we will examine a model outlining systems-level issues in health care impacting 2SLGBTQI+ health, as well as briefly reviewing evidence on population size, experiences in care, and health inequities. We will then move into a conversation exploring the types of health systems and health policy research that could help to catalyze change.
