This panel and networking event explores careers behind the scenes in music, connecting opportunities between London and Nottingham, while helping bridge the gap between the two cities’ music industries, and highlighting the skills needed to build sustainable careers in the industry.
Hear from women working across the music industry, learn what roles exist beyond the stage, and connect with others looking to build their future in music.
Who is this for?
Female-identifying people aged 18–25 who want to work behind the scenes in the music industry - from management and marketing to events, radio, creative and business roles and many more.
About the Cat's Mother Network
The Cat’s Mother Network supports female-identifying people aged 18–25 who want to work behind the scenes in music, providing free mentoring, guidance and industry connection opportunities. You will have access to signing up on the day to our mentoring programme.
This event is part of the Nottingham C.A.N - Beaknots Music Academy Festival (funded by Youth Music!
Held at Mimm Studios, Nottingham and focusing on showcasing a wide breadth of local career pathway from within the Music Industry and also celebrating the talents of the young creatives from the Beatknots Music Academy. We have curated a vibrant 3-week schedule, featuring a range of Talks, Masterclasses, Performances and Workshops.
