On September 26th, from 5-7pm at , join Ottawa Salus for a fun evening where community members come together to explore how supportive housing is transforming our community and how they can help!
Enjoy tasty hors d'oeuvres made by the vendors at QSF, listen to good tunes, and get ready to win exciting door prizes.
But the real highlight of the evening? Our unique learning and connection stations! Sip on a refreshing mocktail or grab a drink from the bar and transition through six learning stations hosted by Salus staff or community mental health professionals. Each station, hosted by Salus staff or community mental health professionals, will offer a new perspective and insight into the landscape of supportive housing and community mental health services.
You'll walk away with knowledge on topics like:
- The societal issues of mental illness and substance use
- The complexities of the housing crisis in Ottawa and its impact on one of the most marginalized populations
- The role that Salus plays in the supportive housing landscape
- The role of a Salus staff both in Salus housing and in the community
