Let It Be Us offers a series of virtual educational events on topics surrounding Foster Care and Adoption in the State of Illinois. Our Live Foster Parent Recruitment Events are the in-person portion of this series.

Join us for an informative and compassionate in-person Casual Conversation on Foster Care and Licensing with the Children's Home, an organization committed to protecting children, strengthening families, and building brighter futures for those who have experienced trauma. Engage in open, candid discussions and share valuable insights in an intimate, small-group session hosted by Let It Be Us. Meet with our dedicated staff, agency caseworkers, and experienced foster parents as we provide the latest updates on foster care and licensing - and give you the opportunity to ask your individual questions. You’ll also learn more about the Illinois child welfare system and the incredible support available to foster families. By offering a stable and loving home, you can make a profound difference in a child's life.
