About this Event

Two castration epics in one day, what more can you ask for.

Stray Cat Film Center is thrilled to present the first two parts of Louise Weard's castration epic.

Castration Movie Anthology i.Traps | 2023 | 4h 35m | 1:00pm - 5:30ish

  • "Michaela 'Traps' Sinclair is a trans sex worker trying to get by in Vancouver while also mentoring her recently-out friend Adeline and making an attempt at pursuing actual motherhood. Meanwhile, lowly production assistant Turner finds himself dangerously spiraling into inceldom as his current relationship implodes."

Castration Movie Anthology ii. The Best of Both Worlds | 2025 | 5h | 7:00pm - 12:00am

  • "Michaela navigates political and gender issues affecting marginalized people while trying to maintain her integrity as others attempt to manipulate her for their purposes."

The films will be shown back-to-back with roughly a one hour to one-and-a-half hour break for dinner. Pizza will be provided with purchase of a $15 ticket.

Tickets are $15 and include admission to both films. There will be a limited amount of walk-up tickets available for each individual screening.
