CASTLE returns to Los Angeles after 6 years in support of their new album "Evil Remains" (Hammerheart Records, 2024). Joining Castle is L.A.'s THE CIMMERIAN and CATTLEMASS. CASTLE was forged in San Francisco in 2009 by guitarist Mat Davis and bassist/vocalist Liz Blackwell and released its debut full-length, In Witch Order, via Germany’s Ván Records in 2011. The album brought light to the newly-formed band and earned them “Album Of The Year” honors from Metal Hammer Norway. Shortly thereafter, CASTLE joined the Prosthetic Records roster in North America and released both their critically-acclaimed sophomore album Blacklands, which led to a Canadian JUNO nomination for “Metal/Hard Music Album Of The Year”, and 2014’s follow-up, Under Siege.
Since the release of its first album, CASTLE has maintained a relentless tour schedule, performing close to 700 shows worldwide alongside the likes of The Sword, Conan, Intronaut, The Skull and Pentagram, among many others. The group has appeared at numerous underground music festivals including Roadburn, the London and Berlin Desertfests and recently completed its first-ever tour of Japan.

THE CIMMERIAN Utilizing the influence of bands such as Motörhead, Venom and Sleep, the doom thrash power trio known as The Cimmerian have embarked on the development of an electrically barbaric approach to their music. Planting their flag in Los Angeles, all three members: guitarist David Gein (ex-Black Pyramid, The Scimitar), bassist/vocalist Nicolas Rocha (Deathkings, Pendulous) and drummer David Morales, set out to tell the tales of high adventure backed by the onslaught of guitar riffage, the powerhouse section of thunderous bass and bombastic drums, topped off with the throaty gravelly barks bringing the sounds of fantastical cataclysm.
