Casey's Craft Cub: Festive Felt

Craft club is getting ready for the holiday season with a special seasonal craft in collaboration with Mosaic, a tenant amenity center in the Embarcadero Center. We will be designing felt ornaments and seasonal felt gardlands. This craft involves cutting up felt, adding embellishments or embroidery of your choice, stuffing your creation to give it a little plush, and attaching to a ribbon to hang on your tree or attach multiple felt shapes to a long peice of string to create a festive garland. Holidays not your thing? Use the felt and provided materials to make whatever creation your you can think up!
All materials will be provided. Feel free to bring any additional materials that will help you get into the creative zone or anything specific you want to add to your project — maybe a very special charm, button or bead. No experience necessary, although some sewing skills will come in handy if you have them. If you are a beginner, plenty of instruction will be given to make this new craft a breeze.
Light bites and drinks will be provided by Mosaic.
Casey’s Craft Club is a welcoming space to get crafty, meet friends & build community. This is a safe, stress free environment to try out new projects & materials and build a community of creative people.
