Casey House has just received uplifting news: Diana Princess of Wales will be making a historic visit. Experience this poignant portrayal of the residents and caregivers as they prepare for the Princess's visit highlighting how community joy and compassion can persist even in the face of an overwhelming pandemic.
Award-winning Canadian playwright Nick Green is renowned for his insightful and thought-provoking works including the lauded Body Politic. Casey and Diana continues his exploration of LGBTQ+ history and the human condition. In 2024 Casey and Diana was the winner of Best New Canadian Play at the Toronto Theatre Critics’ Awards and had a sold-out run at the Stratford Festival where it was directed by Andrew Kushnir. Kushnir who is known for his innovative approach to verbatim theatre and social issues will also helm the Arts Club’s production.
