Case Closed is a gripping stage play based on the true story and book by Casondra Burkley, who was just 16 years old in 1995 when she was raped by a stranger who broke into her home. Left to navigate a storm of confusion, shame, and trauma, she made a courageous decision—to forgive and reclaim her life.
Unbeknownst to her, her rape kit sat untested for over a decade. Then, 15 years later, a single phone call reopened her case—reigniting old fears, uncovering new truths, and ultimately leading to an indescribable peace.
This powerful production, brought to you by Conquering the Obstacles of Painful Experiences (C.O.P.E.) and Don’t Wanna Miss Productions, is more than a play—it’s a movement. Through raw storytelling, emotional honesty, and faith-driven resilience, Case Closed invites audiences into a journey of justice, hope, and healing.
