📣 Children in our community need the voice of a caring adult to speak up for them in court!🌸 Our Spring training class will prepare volunteers for the very important work of becoming a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA). When a child has been abused or neglected, a CASA volunteer may be appointed by the court to advocate for the child's best interest in court and in the community.
📝 The pre-service training consists of six 2.5-hour classes, once per week, and court observation. A completed application, interview, and clean background check are required to begin the training. Dates and times of training are flexible and subject to change.
