Carving faces in cottonwood bark
Come join us for a fun-filled day of carving faces in cottonwood bark with the Red River Valley Woodcarvers at the Moorhead, MN American Legion! Club member Derek Epping will teach you how to carve on cottonwood bark. Whether you're a seasoned carver or more of a beginner, this event is for you. Some carving experience is required.
There is a meterial fee of $10-$20 for the bark. This is payable to the instructor on the day of the class.
Class starts at 9:00, we will pause for the club meeting at 10:30 followed by lunch. A burger/cheeseburger basket is included in your class fee. You will need to get your own beverage. There are several other options in the area, but you may not bring outside food or drinks into the American Legion.
