About this Event
Join us for a hands-on 3-hour session, in which you’ll learn the fundamentals of linocut design and composition, safe carving techniques, and how to ink and transfer your design onto both paper and fabric surfaces. From your first sketch to pulling your final print, you’ll be guided step-by-step through the process, gaining both practical skills and creative confidence along the way.

- One 8” x 6” rubber carving block (can be kept whole or cut into smaller pieces)
- Water-based inks, rollers, carving tools, gloves, and drawing supplies

✨ About the Instructors:
Jen Stasio is a multimedia fine artist and designer whose work is inspired by organic forms and the beauty of nature. She loves helping others discover their creativity through hands-on experiences. When she’s not creating in her studio, you’ll find her in the garden designing edible landscapes that encourage people to get their hands in the dirt and reconnect with nature.
Emily Eisen, M.Ed., Director/Instructor of EMpartART.com since 2002, is a multimedia fine artist and craftswoman, enjoyably teaching students from infant to Senior, 34 years at the Hicksville Schools. She currently exhibits at The Firefly Artists Gallery in Northport , NY, as well as other galleries throughout the year. Art is her passion, nourishment and path of self-expression. Sharing her skills and passion with her students brings her tremendous joy! Printmaking is one of her favorite art forms to express her visions.
