Our annual festive event is a cornerstone of Christmas celebrations in Calderdale, bringing together the magnificent Halifax Choral Society and the world-renowned Black Dyke Band for an unforgettable evening of Christmas carols and glorious brass music.Under the baton of conductor Nicholas Childs (Black Dyke Band) and Anthony Gray (also compère), alongside Julia Baker leading the delightful Bradshaw Primary School Choir, this concert promises a magical atmosphere. It's the perfect family Christmas show to capture the spirit of the holidays!
This concert will feature an abundance of traditional carols, some exciting new arrangements, and will include the premiere performances of the winners of our 2025 Carol Compostion Competition.
