Since 1855, the Caroline Plummer House has reflected an enduring commitment to youth in foster care. For the first time in over a century, the house stood silent. In May 2025, it began a new chapter with extensive renovations made possible by our generous community of supporters.Today, the renewed Caroline Plummer House is designed to support young people on their journeys to family and belonging. The space includes a two-bedroom apartment for family visits, a state-of-the-art training room for staff and community partners, and a central hub supporting our work across the state.
Join us on May 2, 2026, as we celebrate this milestone with a ribbon cutting alongside our dedicated community. We hope you’ll be part of this special day.
Event Schedule
• 11:30 AM – 12:00 PM: Guest arrival and shuttle service to campus
• 12:30 PM: Program begins
• 1:00 PM – 1:30 PM: Refreshments and small bites
• 1:30 PM: Tours begin (every 15 minutes)
• 3:00 PM: Event concludes and final shuttle departures

• Parking will be available on Fort Ave., located at the top of Winter Island Rd. A complimentary shuttle service will be provided from Fort Ave. to 37 Winter Island Rd. The shuttle will run continuously from 11:30 am to 3:00 pm.
Accessible Parking: available on site, please follow the signs.
