In January's Carolina Science Cafe, we'll welcome Dr. Lindsey Smith Taillie from the UNC Department of Nutrition in the Gillings School of Public Health to discuss her research on evaluating sugary beverage taxes, front-of-package warning labels, and marketing restrictions in a number of Latin American countries, including Chile, Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, and Peru.Carolina Science Cafe is a free program hosted at Haw River Tap & Table in Carrboro.
