We'll start with a lesson on American Style Rumba taught by the premier Latin dance instructor in this part of the country, Inga Sirkaite of Elite Ballroom: www.eliteballroomdance.com.Rumba is a slow but sensuous dance in which the steps are fairly simple but the real fun is in how you move your body to the rhythm, a movement called Cuban Motion. Moving to the music this way is the key to experiencing the joy of Rumba (and most other Latin dances). Inga Sirkaite, a championship Latin dancer and renown teacher, is adept in helping both beginners and experienced ballroom dancers get more expression out of a Rumba rhythm.
After the lesson we'll have more than 2 hours of general dancing for all the ballroom dances plus most popular social dances.
