Carolina Pro Musica invites you to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary at the Gaston County Public Library Main Branch. Enjoy a performance featuring historical music performed in Boston, Philadelphia, Williamsburg, and other colonial cities. Carolina Pro Musica was founded in 1977 to perform “Early music” using period instruments and voice in the styles of the musical periods in which it was written.
The ensemble has been artists-in-residence at Belmont Abbey College since 2001.
This project was supported by the North Carolina Arts Council, a division of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources and the Gaston Arts Council. This series also received support from the Gaston Community Foundation.
