All Bucs fans are welcome to join us for the annual Carolina Buccaneer's Krewe tailgate on Sunday, December 21st. Last year we had 186 Pewter Pirate supporters tailgating before we beat the Kitty Kats! The game is at 1PM (unless it gets flexed to a later time). We will provide food, drinks, beer and lots of people will bring food to share.
Some of the Krewe admins will be there by 8AM to setup our Krewe tent and flag. Most of us will be there before 10AM. Many of the Krewe will buy tickets to attend the game but we will have a television for those that aren’t buying tickets. Eric will bring his Bucs corn hole boards. He will probably bring his speakers and music (we try to stop him, but it never works).

Who can come: Anyone who supports the Bucs. They do not have to be official Krewe members, but please consider joining our FB group for updates on future Bucs events: https://www.facebook.com/groups/23058449774
Food: We will have BBQ, hot dogs, hamburgers, snacks, dessert, water, soft drinks and beer.
Tailgate location: We have a new location as the old one is no longer available. It is a fenced in lot on South Cedar Street between Dunbar and West Morehead (see map above). Easiest access is to take Morehead St. to South Cedar street and turn southwest at the light (the tailgate is on the opposite side of Morehead from the Stadium). We will be less than half a mile walk from the stadium for those who are planning to go to the game. We plan to setup in the field close to Morehead street.
Cost to park: They charge $50 per vehicle (cash only) to park. After you park look for the Krewe flag and canopy tents.
Cost of tailgate: We ask attendees to donate $10 per person. Every year some attendees donate $20 per person, and we appreciate that extra help. I always donate $100 each year to make sure the admins aren’t upside down on purchases. If possible, please send donations in advance to:

If you can’t do that, please give your contributions to Dave at the tailgate but if you pay now it will help us budget the food and beer.
Game tickets: You can buy tickets online but there are no plans to have a large Krewe section as this is too hard to pull off. Small groups can usually find tickets together.
Bringing Items: If you would like to bring items to share (drinks, snacks, sides, desserts) that is always appreciated. If you post in the comments what you are bringing, we can try to coordinate so we don’t have everyone bringing the same things. Bringing items to share is optional but appreciated. The Krewe will provide plates, napkins, silverware, condiments, BBQ, hot dogs, hamburgers, buns, snacks, drinks, and beer.
If anyone has a generator they can bring, please let us know (we have 2 but could use 3).
Please let us know if you will attend and how many will be with you so we know how much to buy. If you are bringing friends, please let them know to Venmo or Zelle $10 per person. If you send money in advance that will help us to purchase the correct quantities.
