About Carolina
Carolina del Rivero began dancing at age 6 and has trained extensively across multiple disciplines. She studied ballet at the world-renowned Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires and later pursued modern dance at the Taller de Danza Contemporánea del Teatro San Martín.
She discovered tango in 1995 and has been teaching and performing internationally since 2000, with appearances across the United States, Europe, and beyond. Carolina has been a sought-after instructor and performer at major tango festivals throughout the Americas and Europe.
From 2001 to 2014, she was a featured master teacher and dancer at the Congreso Internacional de Tango Argentino (C.I.T.A), the world’s largest annual tango event in Buenos Aires. She and Ricardo have continued teaching and performing together at C.I.T.A. since 2024.
Drawing from her diverse dance background, Carolina brings elegance, depth, and precision to tango. She is known for her strong technical understanding and her ability to clearly communicate the nuances of the follower’s role.
She is also a certified practitioner of the Feldenkrais Method (graduated 2020), a movement-based approach that enhances body awareness and efficiency. Carolina integrates this work into her tango teaching, helping students move with greater ease and effectiveness.
About Ricardo
Ricardo Biggeri is an Argentine tango dancer, teacher, choreographer, and DJ.
He began his professional career in 2000, teaching extensively and performing regularly at La Viruta Tango in Buenos Aires, one of the most influential tango venues of its time. Over the years, he has worked with renowned teachers and collaborators, refining both his style and teaching approach.
Since 2007, Ricardo has toured internationally, teaching and performing at festivals and workshops across North America and Europe, while remaining an active presence in the Buenos Aires tango scene.
His style blends traditional and contemporary elements, with a strong emphasis on connection, musicality, elegance, and dynamic movement. As an instructor, Ricardo is known for his ability to break down complex techniques into clear, engaging, and accessible concepts.
In addition to tango, Ricardo is a pioneer of swing dance in Argentina, helping build a thriving community and earning numerous international accolades.
Ricardo and Carolina first performed together in 2019 and have been partnering and touring together since 2023.
