About this Event
The Sea House Music Venue's first show of 2026 sees Carol Hodge's visit, as part of her January Blues Buster Tour. Carol's fifth studio album EffortLess InSecurity was officially released in January 2025. As ever, Carol’s strength lies in her highly confessional and relatable lyricism, covering topics such as Neurodiversity, Insecure Attachment, Self doubt/Self worth, and Autistic Spectrum Masking.
"A real talent in the realm of smart, on-the-money melodies and bittersweet storytelling through song – lines like ‘it’s easier to hear what I want to believe’ pack a quiet but powerful punch. Sweet, sad and life-affirming all at once." CLASSIC ROCK
Support for the show comes from Cumbria's Sylanna; Music has been Sylanna's companion since childhood, with her connection to the piano beginning at the age of eight. This early foundation has evolved into a distinctive artistic voice that draws from an impressive range of influences, including Tori Amos, Joni Mitchell, Ben Folds Five, and Steely Dan.
