CARNE VERDE return to 03 Sessions with another evening of unfettered bass & drums overindulgence! With a penchant for lush tones and bizarre textures with eye-watering polyrhythms, this duo will captivate you with a haze of cinematic sci-fi prog fusion jazz funk and sonic exploratory surgery.CARNE VERDE is the malformed brainchild of percussionist extraordinaire Doug Brush and bass iconoclast Mike "Fud" Fudakowski.
Special guest Lakeward is the solo project of Cam Giddens. Inspired by the likes of Michael Manring and The Omnific, Lakeward plays bass-centred progressive rock and aims to induce emotional headbanging and slappa-da-bass energy. Cam is also a solo bass enthusiast, as seen by the incorporation of some solo tunes into his sets, and he aims to create a sound with the bass guitar that is larger than expected. For the rest of Lakeward's set, Cam is backed up by Dean Gibson on the drum kit. He perfectly complements Cam's bass noodlings and weird rhythms, creating the backbone of the duo. On the back of releasing his latest EP Skylines, Cam is excited to be taking the stage once again, not to mention playing for his incredible bass tutor, Mike Fudakowski.
