✨ What happens when 30 years of quiet service turns into a case of mistaken identity?Join Movies With Spirit for the Kingston premiere of this joyous, vibrant comedy drama set in the sun‑drenched Mediterranean.
THE STORY
In a picturesque Maltese village, Carmen (Natascha McElhone) has spent her life since age 16 in the shadow of her brother, the local priest. After his sudden death three decades later, a twist of fate leads the villagers to mistake her for the new priest.
Instead of correcting them, Carmen embraces the unexpected role. She challenges patriarchal norms, offers unconventional (and surprisingly effective) advice in the confessional and finally discovers her own independence and voice.
