Carla Ryder Band - Carla Ryder has been described as a rock n' roll flapper, garage serenader, front porch chanteuse, and country crooner. The late Boston Globe critic Steve Morse, called Carla "An aspiring rock singer who seems to get better with each appearance. Almost too versatile to categorize, but she has fun trying." She and her dynamic band deliver a lively performance filled with catchy, power-pop, rock-infused songs that reveal a depth of spirit and a window into the struggle and redemption of the human condition. Louder Than Milk hails from Boston and plays a blend of Americana, blues, country and rock. The band features six players, four songwriters and three-part harmonies. A sprinkling of original instrumentals and choice covers fill out the band’s grooving, kaleidoscopic repertoire. Louder Than Milk has released three albums and is gestating a fourth.
