Join us for a FREE workshop that will introduce the potential benefits of palliative care for people coping with dementia or any other chronic neurological illness.There will be a 60 minute lecture and Q&A session. There will be time to mingle, meet our sponsors and community partners for resources and enjoy light refreshments.
Dr. Jocelyn Jiao, MD, MS, is a fellowship-trained, board-certified neurologist with the Movement Disorders Center at Stanford Health Care. She is also a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Neurology and Neurological Sciences. She also holds a dual appointment as a clinical assistant professor in the Palliative Medicine section at Stanford. As a neuropalliative specialist, Dr. Jiao is developing an interdisciplinary neuropalliative clinic that emphasizes planning for the future and maximizes quality of life for people living with chronic neurological illness.
This session is offered at the Avenidas Rose Kleiner Center, 270 Escuela Avenue, Mountain View, on Wednesday, April 9 from 4:30-6:30pm.
