🍎Who: Fruity Market is a swap meet focused on sustainability, inclusiveness, and community. We are an all ages event that is QTPOC & LGBTQIA friendly! Interested in a new hobby or aesthetic? Want to make friends, and engage in retail therapy while keeping funds within your community? Then join us on Saturday, April 12th from noon to 5p!
Fruity Market will have 13 vendors with:
- Merch, prints, and on the spot comissions by local artists
- Secondhand anime & manga merch
- Used cosplays & wigs
- Secondhand clothing, shoes, & accessories
- Lightly used home goods & trinkets
- Pre-loved books, manga, anime magazines, jpop/kpop CDs, anime DVDs
- And More!
🍉What: Fruity Market, will also have:
- A Repair Cafe: ✂️ Missing a button? Need to hem something? Bring a lightly damaged clothing item and Shaf of IG @liptoncunningham will teach you how to fix it. We will have supplies on hand and focus on hand sewing. If you have an item with damage beyond the scope of hand repair, Alyss of @alyss.art_ will be bringing her sewing machine and offering repair services for a fee!
- A Pop Up Cafe: 🍹Grab a refreshing drink while you browse
- Music & Good vibes: 🎶 Swing by and make new friends
- A free polaroid for anyone who dresses up in alt fashion or cosplay: 📸 While supplies last!
