Joint Organizer: Hong Kong Association of Gerontology. Topics include: understanding ageing; personal hygiene skills – bathing, foot/hand care, clothing choice, toileting; safe handling, lifting, transferring, wheelchair/walking aids; feeding skills, skin care; and preventing pressure sores.
Upon satisfactory completion of the course the Hong Kong Association of Gerontology will award a Certificate of “Basic Course on Care of Older People at Home” with 100% of attendance. Certificate application fee of $20 will be collected by HKAG on the last lesson.
