Our first peach menu of the season. Jamaican and Trinidad flavors!For well over a decade i have been doing peach dinners, featuring the amazing fruit from my friends at the Masumoto family farm; a fourth generation farm that is one of the pioneers of California organic farm community.
Family style menu will include:
appetizer: Saheena (dal and greens fritters) with peach chutney, peach kuchela
Salad: peaches, chayote, cilantro, culantro, lime dressing
Soup: Peach Gazpacho. Chilled soup with tomatoes, peaches, radishes, cucumbers, herbs
Jamaican curry roots, eggplant and tofu in coconut milk with our homemade spice mix
Peach Jerk Tempeh: handmade tempeh smoked over allspice wood, marinated in peach jerk sauce
Turned Cornmeal (Caribbean version of polenta)

Dessert: handmade ice cream cones with peach allspice ice cream
