"Steve Hazell has been a part of the Wisconsin folk music scene for over thirty years and has performed at numerous festivals and venues across the state. Known for his fingerpicking guitar style and gentle voice, Hazell offers a mix of original songs and time-honored folk songs that create a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. In between songs, Steve shares his unique and often humorous stories about life in the Midwest and what it’s like to be real old.""The Krause Family Band is an Americana group from Madison, Wisconsin. Fronted by Kansas Music Hall of Famer, Rick Krause (guitar, banjo, harmonica), daughters Katie and Ruthie (fiddle and vocals), Scott Wright on keys, and Brad Wolbert on upright bass, they offer a unique mix of heartfelt original songs and covers ranging from The Everly, Statler, and Mills Brothers to the Reverend Al Green and Linda Ronstadt. Last year, their work on Ruthie’s solo album 'Ruthenium' earned them a MAMA for Folk Song Of the Year ('Soon') and a WAMI for their Ensemble Vocals."
