Join Adaptive Design Association for CARExDESIGN – A Special Edition: Volunteer Build Night, part of the vibrant NYCxDESIGN Festival—a citywide celebration of creativity, care, and inclusive design. This special evening brings together community members, designers, educators, and volunteers for a hands-on experience rooted in person-centered design. Participants will work alongside the Adaptive Design team to help build custom adaptive equipment and tactile learning tools that directly support children and families with disabilities. More than a build night, this is a space for connection and shared purpose—where making becomes meaningful, and design is guided by lived experience. Throughout the evening, you’ll engage in conversation around care, access, and community impact while contributing to real adaptations that make everyday life more accessible. Whether you’re picking up a tool for the first time or returning as part of our growing volunteer community, this special edition of CARExDESIGN invites you to design with intention, with care, and with others.
