Communicating Effectively is part of the Alzheimer's Association's Empowered Caregiver Series. This session teaches how dementia affects communication, including tips for communicating well with family, friends and health care professionals.All five sessions will be presented by Donna Smith, owner of Home Instead on Fridays at 2pm through April. Each session consists of an educational program followed by a support group. Attendees are welcome to participate in any programs that fit your schedule.
Free respite care is available onsite in Home Instead’s dementia day program, Friends Club. Registration is necessary.
