Join us on Wednesday, February 4th at 6:30 PM at Bring on the Spectrum (71 Fuller Rd., Albany) for an educational and supportive training session for families and caregivers of individuals with type 1 diabetes.This session will include:
✔️ Fingerstick and Blood glucose checks
✔️insulin injections
✔️ Pump and CGM basics & troubleshooting
✔️ Recognition and management of hyper and hypoglycemia
Representatives from seven diabetes device companies will be on site to provide education and answer questions. This is a great opportunity to expand your caregiving support network and connect with the local T1D community.
Caregivers, extended family, friends, and older siblings are encouraged to attend. Kids are welcome, with activities available.
