About this Event
Careers in Heritage: Skills, Pathways & Opportunities is a free careers event for young people aged 12–25 who are curious about working in the heritage sector.
The event brings together industry professionals, training providers, and organisations to showcase the wide range of careers available across heritage — from conservation and crafts to building specialists and heritage trades.
Attendees will be able to take part in inspiring talks, interactive workshops, and engage directly with exhibitors, gaining practical insight into what working in heritage really involves. The event is designed to help young people explore different roles, understand the skills required, and learn about the pathways into the sector, including education, training, apprenticeships, and employment.
Whether you’re just starting to think about your future, exploring creative and hands-on careers, or looking for your next step, this event offers a supportive and engaging space to ask questions, try things out, and connect with people already working in heritage.
No prior experience is required — just curiosity and an interest in discovering what opportunities the heritage sector has to offer.
