Ready to make a bigger impact in your community's climate journey? Join us for an in person Carbon Literacy training designed to give you the knowledge and tools you need to drive real change. This training will be delivered for ECCAN by Speak Carbon Collective.

A free, vegetarian lunch will be provided, catered by Pop Catering. Please get in touch with us as soon as possible if you have any dietary requirements.
What is Carbon Literacy?
Carbon Literacy provides knowledge and skills to tackle climate change locally. It's all about understanding the carbon impacts of everyday activities and learning practical ways to reduce emissions, becoming part of an informed, proactive community dedicated to creating a sustainable and resilient community.
Who is this training for?
Whether you're already working on climate initiatives or just getting started, this training will empower you. You'll dive into the core science of climate change, explore climate justice and relevant policies and learn how to translate that knowledge into meaningful action within your community.
Upon successful completion, you'll receive a globally recognised Carbon Literacy certification, an accreditation that showcases your commitment and expertise. Part of the certification sees you undertake two pledges on climate action, solidifying your commitment to making a difference in your community in a tangible and meaningful way.
