🏎 Vermilion Racing – Car Reveal 2026🏎 Vermilion Racing, DTU’s Formula Student team, invites you to the unveiling of our newest race car at Classic Car House that will compete at the prestigious Silverstone track this summer. Alongside the car reveal, visitors will also have the opportunity to explore Classic Car House’s museum and private collection, one of the largest collections of classic cars in Scandinavia.
Formula Student is an international engineering competition in which university teams design, build, and race their own formula-style race cars. Throughout the past year, students from all across DTU’s many different programmes have worked intensively alongside their studies, and come together, to develop this year’s car — covering almost all engineering topics. This includes high level aerodynamic simulation and development, mechanical designs using different analytical tools and producing our own electronics, software, and powertrain systems.
At the event, we will present the car that will represent DTU and Vermilion Racing at the international Formula Student competition FSUK this summer at Silverstone, one of the world’s most iconic Formula 1 circuits. This event is one of the pinnacles of global Mechanical Engineering, drawing Universities from across the globe.
Our Car Reveal will take place at Classic Car House, a venue dedicated to showcase the automotive history and craftsmanship that have inspired a new generation to take a leap into automotive development. In this setting, we present the next step in performance engineering — a race car that reflects the intersection of innovation, teamwork, and motorsport.
We welcome students, industry professionals, motorsport enthusiasts, and anyone interested in engineering and automotive technology, as well as anyone simply stopping by.
