Cool. Automotive. Repair.
A one-day introduction to the world of automobiles open to rising 7th through 9th graders.
Students will explore automotive maintenance basics through a review of car design, roadside safety, and basic car care. This one-day C.A.R. camp is full of hands-on lab activities, including changing oil, checking tire pressure, and identifying parts. Participants will wrap up the day with a Pit-Crew Challenge.
Students will be responsible for their lunch, drinks, and snacks throughout the day. Please bring a refillable water bottle with a lid each day.
Dress Code: Students must wear long pants; a shirt/ top with sleeves; and closed-toe/ heel shoes (like tennis shoes) no flip flops or sandals.
