For many years the Car Boot Sale has been a mainstay of Henderson Community life. Each week buyers and sellers alike come and enjoy themselves while getting a few bargains.The sale runs from 6am - midday each Saturday morning. Stalls cost $10 per carpark and are on a first-come-first-served basis.
No hot food (unless by prior arrangement) or illicit material allowed. Thank you.
What you need to know...
Runs every Saturday weather permitting (unless falls on Christmas day or Anzac day)
Opens 6am officially, but several sellers will arrive earlier (particularly on a fine day).
Clean up and out of carpark by midday - taking your own rubbish with you.
Each carpark pays $10 (so multiples multiply)
First in first served except for a few designated parks (those people arrive very early).
You will be directed to a carpark.
You can sell anything legal except drugs, alcohol, explicit/pornographic material, hot food or anti-Christian literature, nor raffles – no petitions, or political campaigning.
Before 6am the contact person is Lesley (she operates one of the stalls). After 6am it’s the person in the orange vest.
