Wise Choices Pregnancy Resource Center, Fatherhood program, is hosting a free, hands-on Car Basics workshop led by experienced automotive technicians. If you’re a Dad of children 0-3 years old and simply want to feel more confident maintaining your vehicle to keep your family safe on the road, this course covers the practical knowledge every car owner should have.
What You'll Learn:
-How to read and interpret Check Engine lights
-Proper tire pressure maintenance
-Fluid checks and replacements
-Belt and brake inspections
-Bulb and windshield wiper replacement
-Tire changes, Fix-A-Flat, and portable air compressor use
-Understanding warranties and service agreements
-How to evaluate and select a reputable mechanic
-Jump starting a vehicle safely
This is a no-cost course open to the community.
All attendees will receive a Course Completion Gift including a portable air compressor, tire pressure gauge, check engine code reader, and jumper cables.
