About this Event
Join us for an engaging and thoughtful photography workshop exploring the nuances of capturing Black skin tones through the lens. Led by artist and photographer Nitashia Johnson, this session invites participants to deepen their understanding of light, tone, and visual storytelling while considering the richness and complexity of Black subjects in photography.
This workshop is designed as an open, exploratory experience—encouraging curiosity, experimentation, and dialogue. Participants will have the opportunity to observe, practice, and reflect on techniques that shape how we see and represent one another.
Please note: Attendees must bring their own camera, SD card, and camera battery.
All experience levels are welcome. Come ready to learn, engage, and expand your perspective.
