We could use a few more volunteer drivers that would be willing to transport animal to and from rescuers to rehabbers in Fort Bend County and SW Houston area. Our last “Capture and Transport” class was fun and informative. We learned how to safely contain various species and met some local rehabbers who could use a helping hand to receive injured and orphaned wildlife when we are too swamped with animal care duties to go get them ourselves. Although we prefer finders to bring them to us, sometimes they can’t or won’t.
