Capitol Creations: Create IN History – May Series at the Old State Capitol
Join us Saturdays in May from 1–3 PM inside the Old State Capitol for our Capitol Creations series. Each week is a chance to create, connect, and make memories in one of Springfield’s most historic spaces.
All supplies are included unless otherwise noted.
Please wear paint clothes and bring a covered drink or snack while your project dries.
Payment is required to reserve your seat.
Special Event: May 9 | 1st Annual Plant Sale & Mother’s Day Bouquet Sale
11 AM – 4 PM, while supplies last
A day focused on spring planting, fresh blooms, and hands-on learning.
A $5 class fee is required and will be applied as a credit toward plant purchases.
At the top of each hour, Lisha will guide “From Seed to Bouquet,” a class covering the basics of spring planting so you can grow your own flowers at home.
