This concert features a host of Grammy-nominated performers including Vermont's own flutist Karen Kevra, and featuring Portland Maine's Palaver Strings in a colorful folk-influenced program of Hungarian, Romanian, Hebraic, and Finnish music.Since 2014, Grammy-nominated Palaver Strings has made its mark as one of New England’s most innovative chamber ensembles. Their recent and upcoming engagements include appearances at Tanglewood, Carnegie Hall, Newport Classical, and the Kennedy Center.
Palaver’s latest release, A Change is Gonna Come (Azica Records, 2024), was named one of Gramophone’s favorite classical recordings of the year.
