About this Event
Graduation is a major milestone, and many high school seniors choose to personalize their graduation caps as a way to celebrate their journey and express their personality. Canvas & Company is hosting a guided High School Graduation Cap Decorating Workshop designed specifically for seniors preparing for upcoming Palm Beach County graduation ceremonies.
This hands-on workshop gives students a creative space to design and decorate their graduation cap before the big day. Participants will receive guidance on layout, lettering, and decoration techniques while working with a wide range of craft materials.
No artistic experience is required. Our instructor will guide students step-by-step through the process so they can create a design that reflects their accomplishments, future goals, or school pride.
Students will leave with a finished cap ready to wear at graduation and photograph during the ceremony.
What to Expect
The workshop begins with a short design walkthrough where the instructor shows examples of popular graduation cap styles. Students will then sketch their design before decorating their cap using provided materials.
Throughout the session, instructors will assist students with layout, lettering, and embellishment placement to ensure each cap looks polished and balanced.
Materials Provided
Participants will have access to:
• Letter stencils
• Metallic paint pens
• Glitter cardstock
• Rhinestones and decorative gems
• Adhesive lettering
• Decorative trim and embellishments
• Craft glue and tools
Students should bring their graduation cap to decorate.
