In this project based workshop, you'll develop an event flyer under the guidance of graphic designer Nicole Holmes. We will explore a couple AI image tools available in Canva, as well as how to choose a template quickly, visual hierarchy, how to resize for social media and downloading for print/web.
So grab some food on the way and come ready for the most productive lunch meeting ever. And probably the most fun!
We will be using Canva, a free online design program, to build your rackcard. Nicole will share a few Canva tips along the way to help you save time and energy when designing marketing materials in the future. After a brief overview of the project, Nicole will offer expert advice to each attendee while creating your rackcard. Use your new rackcard confidently, knowing that it's designer approved!
Please have all logo files, headshots and other brand imagery easily accessible on your device.
About Nicole: In the last 18 years as a graphic designer, Nicole Holmes has worked with over 200 clients to develop logos and marketing materials tailored to their brand. After growing up in a family of entrepreneurs (and being one herself!), she knows the struggles and joys of running a small business, of building a dream.
