Join us for a night of Lambrusco and Modenese cuisine, hosted by Elena, head wine maker of Cantina Messori!
From 17.30, Vitis will be showcasing a range of Mosseri's sparkling whites and reds, with the vigneron herself present to explain them. To highlight the terroir we will be offering tapas-style bites from the region : prosciutto, mortadella, olives, house made foccacia, and much more!

Cantina Messori lives between the provinces of Reggio Emilia and Modena, an area where Lambrusco and Pignoletto wines represent a centuries-old tradition. The winery was founded over a century ago, in 1916, when Abbondio Messori purchased a property in the heart of Emilia Romagna, in Correggio.
Innovation in agronomic techniques blends with the tradition of cultivation; Cantina Messori works only with native grape varieties: Ancellotta, Pignoletto, and Lambrusco.
The Winery:
- 100% Pignoletto Ribelle: Charmat method sparkling wine, single vineyard. Eary harvest, high acidity; traditionally still, but rebelliously sparkling.
- 100% Lambrusco Salamino Gasato: Single vineyard, hand-havrvested, with single fermentation in tank.
- 100% Lambrusco Grasparossa Spetti Nato: a rogue variety from the plains, experiemtally worked by Elena's father Luca. Single fermentation in bottle.
