Join Canon's Print Team for a workshop at their Birmingham Showroom that has been developed for those looking to get the best out of their PIXMA PRO or imagePROGRAF PRO desktop printer. This 7 hour hands-on workshop is limited to eight people and is designed for those looking to optimise their post-production workflow through Canon's Professional Print & Layout software.
Please note, this workshop was formally know as imagePROGRAF PRO-300/310 or PRO-1000/1100 workshop.
Workshop Highlights:
Led by Canon Experts: Mark will run through all technical aspects of your printer including key tips, troubleshooting and sharing his expertise on getting the best from the printer.
Step-by-Step Workflow Guidance: From Monitor calibration, to using Canon's Professional Print & Layout software, gain in-depth knowledge on how to use all the features. Print on all Canon's professional media and learn how to use the Media Configuration Tool, as well as other software (model depending) for the best results.
The Complete Setup: Working closely with Eizo & Calibrite we offer on the day use of calibrators and monitors to demonstrate the correct setup for print success. Expand beyond the Canon papers with a range of Canson Infinity, Hahnemühle, Fotospeed, PermaJet & Innova papers, leading to a better understanding of using other papers.
This day is a unique opportunity to expand your print knowledge or inspire you to get printing with your pro desktop printer. Whether you’re looking to enhance your creative output or add a new dimension to your business, this workshop will equip you with the tools and insights needed to succeed.
What to expect:
- Hands on and in-depth learning covering all aspects of the print workflow
- Print with either a PRO-200/200S, PRO-300, PRO-310, PRO-1000 or PRO-1100 setup for you to use on the day.
- Use Canon's Pro Platinum, Luster, Premium Matte, Fine Art Smooth & Rough Papers.
- Canson Infinity, Hahnemühle, Fotospeed, PermaJet & Innova papers.
- Eizo Monitors & Calibrite Monitor calibrators avaialble for you to use.
- Mac Mini's or Windows PC's available for those who need a workstation with all the software installed.
What you will receive on the day:
- A minimum of 8 prints on your chosen size across various Canon & Partner papers.
- 15 sheet Canon A4 Pro Print Sample Pack.
- Exclusive on the day offers on various papers & accessories.
- Lunch and refreshments throughout the day.
What you need to bring:
Please bring your images (JPEG or TIFF) on a USB stick, portable harddrive or card format; we are unable to support a reader for CFexpress Type A and C.
You are also welcome to bring your own computer if you choose to edit and work on your own machine.
Additional Information:
When purchasing a ticket please select the printer model you own, as this will be setup for you on the day.
If you require a Mac or Windows PC, an additional ticket option is available after your model is selected; please add this to your order if you require to use one of our computers on the day.
