Muscle Balance Assessments
New to The Dog House! Muscle balance assessments with Luisa Greig in The Holistic Hub.
Luisa is a highly experienced McTimoney Animal Therapist, Canine Myotherapist, Myofascial Release Therapist, Reiki Master and Advanced Applied Energy Work Therapist.
She treats working and sports dogs, chronic pain and mobility issues, dogs with conditions such as hip / elbow dysplasia, osteoarthritis, spondylosis, cruciate disease, patella luxation and IVDD to name a few, as well as preventative check up treatments.
She is obsessed with sleddogs, and even competes in dryland husky racing!
Muscle balance assessments are gentle and empathetic hands on assessments (palpation) checking musculoskeletal balance and symmetry, subtle compensatory issues, areas of overloading, muscle tension, restriction, or discomfort. By identifying and treating these subtle issues early, we can help prevent more significant postural, gait, performance and chronic pain issues in future, improve gait, optimise performance, maximise comfort levels, and prevent injury.
Did you know that on average dogs won’t show outward signs of pain until they are 7/10 painful? (Source: Canine Arthritis Management).
This is a wonderful opportunity to have your dog checked for subtle postural and movement issues by expert eyes and hands.
Muscle balance assessments cost £15 per dog.
Each time slot is 25 mins per dog.
